Provide occupational therapy in Timmins and surrounding communities, using clinical reasoning and collaborative care to support clients at home. This full-time independent contractor role serves home care clients. As an Occupational Therapist with Bayshore HealthCare’s ICS, you will assess, treat, educate, and manage clients requiring occupational therapy. You will support older adults transitioning from hospital to home while working within an interdisciplinary team and shared client record. The work emphasizes safety, independence, quality of life, and meaningful outcomes in clients’ communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate progress and modify treatment plans as needs change
- Support hospital-to-home transitions through evidence-based interventions




- Communicate findings, recommendations, and education to care partners
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation according to COTO standards

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or recognized equivalent
- Registration in valuable standing with COTO
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and secure digital communication
