Lead group disability claims teams at First Canadian from the Sherwood Park head office, using adjudication expertise and robust coaching skills on-site. The Supervisor, Group Benefit STD and LTD Claims reports to the Manager, Claims – Group Benefits. You will oversee Claims Examiners, support file resolution, and mentor new hires. The work requires disability management knowledge, contractual interpretation, medical terminology, and vocational rehabilitation principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor Claims Examiners managing STD and LTD claims
- Oversee fair, timely adjudication of complex disability claims
- Review files and guide medical, vocational, and contractual decisions
- Monitor audits, productivity, KPIs, quality, accuracy, and turnaround times
- Support compliance,

Requirements:
- Medical Terminology certificate is required
- Health Sciences, Disability Management, or Kinesiology certificate preferred
- One to three years leadership experience with coaching and performance management
- Professional business letter writing and fluent English communication
