Job Summary

Join our compassionate team as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)/Caregiver, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, quality of life services and well rounded health care approaches.

In this vital role, you will provide personalized care to adult and individuals with varying health concerns, within the home care or facility setting.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers and movement
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Document care provided, report changes in health status, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams

Qualifications





- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and caring for individuals with disabilities, cognitive imapirements.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of caregiving tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Experience with mobility and transfers, meal assist and gentle care approach.

Casual/ Part time position
2hr- 24hr care.
Must Drive/ Have vehicle or accesible to transportation
Locations in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Hamilton.
