Dolphin Dry Cleaners is looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on supervisor to join our Country Hills location. This position combines customer service, laundry processing, garment packaging, and overseeing daily store operations.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is interested in a steady, long-term position.

Schedule & Hours

The schedule follows a rotating four days on, four days off pattern, with one additional half-day shift during each four-day off period.

- Weekday shifts: 7 a.m.–8 p.m., including two unpaid 30-minute breaks — 12 paid hours.
- Weekend shifts: 8 a.m.–6 p.m., including one unpaid 30-minute break — 9.5 paid hours.
- Additional half-day shift: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. — 4 paid hours.

This averages approximately 43 paid hours per week over the full rotation. Hours in each calendar week vary depending on where the rotation falls. Availability for both weekdays and weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, accept incoming orders, and return completed orders in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to questions about services, pricing, order status, and turnaround times.
- Inspect, count, tag, and enter garments accurately into our system, recording customer instructions and noting visible stains, damage, or special care requirements.
- Sort, wash, dry, and neatly fold towels, sheets, comforters, and other bedding according to care instructions and company procedures.
- Check clean garments for quality,



presentation, and order accuracy before packaging.
- Bag, label, organize, and store completed orders so they are ready for customer pickup.
- Handle cash and card payments, issue receipts, and complete accurate end-of-day cash-out procedures.
- Coordinate daily tasks, monitor order deadlines, and support staff in maintaining service and quality standards.
- Address routine customer concerns professionally and refer issues requiring management approval.
- Monitor packaging and laundry supplies and notify management when items need replenishing.
- Keep counters, laundry areas, equipment, and customer spaces clean and organized throughout the day.
- Complete closing duties, including cleaning the store, removing garbage, organizing outstanding work, and securing the premises.

- Previous retail, laundry, dry-cleaning, or supervisory experience is an asset.

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
