Job Summary

As a Front Server, welcome guests, take orders, and coordinate attentive service with the kitchen. Help create a smooth, enjoyable dining experience through accurate order handling, timely service, and a clean, organized dining area.

Duties

- Greet guests, answer menu questions, take orders, and enter them accurately using POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages, communicate requests to kitchen colleagues, and check that orders meet guest expectations.
- Process payments, handle cash, and use basic math to verify transactions.
- Maintain clean service areas and follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.

Skills

Required: Explicit communication, customer service, time management, basic math, accurate POS order entry, cash handling, and safe, sanitary food service are practical capabilities for this role. Preferred: Food service, serving, restaurant, hospitality, guest services, kitchen, or food preparation experience; familiarity with Micros POS, cashiering, and thoughtful upselling are helpful.
