The Role

We're hiring part-time instructors to teach in our Nail Technology and Esthetics programs. This is a hands-on role. When you're not in the classroom, you'll be on the floor performing services in our student clinic and supporting day-to-day clinic operations. We're looking for someone who is just as passionate about doing the work as they are about teaching it.

Part-time hours are available immediately, with a clear path to full-time as our Waterloo campus continues to grow.

What You'll Do

- Deliver hands-on instruction across day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Supervise and support students during clinic hours
- Perform services on clinic clients when not actively teaching
- Assist with clinic management duties, including scheduling, client flow, and maintaining service and safety standards

What You'll Teach

- Manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic nail enhancements
- Facials, body treatments, and waxing, threading & sugaring
- Lash extensions, lash lift, lash & brow tinting
- Medical esthetics:



chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, microdermabrasion

Qualifications

- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Diploma from an approved Beauty/Esthetics program
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in nail technology and/or esthetics
- Genuine passion for performing services. You enjoy being on the floor, not just in the classroom
- Strong technical skills and client-facing communication abilities
- Adult education training or 1+ year of teaching experience (asset)
- Availability across a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekends (asset — more flexibility = more hours!)

Compensation & Schedule

- $21.00-$22.00/hour | Part-time to start, with a explicit path to full-time
- Shifts: 4-hour blocks across days, evenings, and weekends
- Work location: In-person, Waterloo campus
