We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Registered Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team at Noor Acupuncture and TCM in Newmarket. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive acupuncture treatments, promoting wellness and pain relief through Traditional Chinese Medicine, in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.
**Duties**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and TCM diagnosis to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques and proper needle placement
- Educate patients on treatment options, benefits, and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with Ontario healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment strategies
- Ensure a clean, safe,
and comfortable environment for all patients (IPAC standards)
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture and integrative medicine
**Requirements**
- Registered and in good standing with the CTCMPAO (R.Ac designation)
- Skilled liability insurance
- Clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and comfort patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism
- Cosmetic/facial acupuncture experience is an asset
