Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive atmosphere
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
- Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors




- Support clients with mobility aids and transfer techniques to promote safety during movement

Qualifications

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care experience
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a casual employment setting
- Certification or training in caregiving or health care aide programs is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
