Job Summary

The Civil Engineer develops and supports civil engineering designs, plans, and project documentation. This role combines technical analysis, drafting, and coordination to help deliver practical, well-documented project solutions.

Duties

- Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, schematics, calculations, and design documents using appropriate CAD tools.
- Support project planning, construction estimating, and project management activities, coordinating design information and updates with project teams.
- Conduct construction inspections, document observations, and help resolve field questions by communicating findings clearly.
- Apply relevant engineering software and mapping tools to analyze project conditions and support design decisions.

Skills

Required: Practical civil engineering capabilities include technical drafting, CAD-based design, explicit documentation, mathematical analysis, and effective coordination across project tasks. Preferred: Relevant construction experience and familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Bluebeam, GIS or ArcGIS, Mathcad, and HEC are advantageous; construction inspection, estimating, project management, schematics, mechanical engineering, and system design knowledge can also support the work.

Pay: $61,500.00-$134,000.00 per year
