JOB OVERVIEW

As a Closing Team Member, you will play an important role in both kitchen operations and front-of-house service. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, serving customers, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant.This is a hands-on, multi-functional position. Successful candidates must be comfortable moving between kitchen duties and customer service responsibilities while helping the team deliver an excellent guest experience.This position requires availability for late-night closing shifts, with shifts potentially running until 3:00 AM. A night shift premium will be provided to selected candidates.

Expected Closing Shift ResponsibilitiesIf you take on a closing shift at a Big Chicken location,



your routine tasks will usually be split between customer service and back-of-house teardown:

- Front-of-House (FOH): Counting out the cash drawer, reconciling the POS system, wiping down and sanitizing all dining tables, flipping chairs, and sweeping/mopping the floors.
- Back-of-House (BOH): Wrapping, labeling, and dating open food containers according to FIFO standards, cooling down holding equipment, cleaning the fryers/flat tops, Arranging the food order.
- Security: Locking all entrance doors, taking out the trash and recycling, and powering down non-essential lighting or kitchen appliances.

Availability Needed

Pay: $18.95-$19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
