Maintain and encourage a safe working environment and good housekeeping

- Load, unload and move material and products by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking
- May be required to open containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials
- Responsible for fork lift checks
- Ensure compliance with Plant and Legislated safety guidelines




- Continuously monitor the organization and management of the storage yard and assist as deemed necessary
- Work as a Team Member in all situations
- Adhere to ISO/QS 9000 & TS16949 procedures
- Ensure work cells are equipped with correct quantities and types of containers, scrap bins, etc
- Back up shipping receiving as required
- Assist with Plant and yard housekeeping
- Apply FIFO (First in, First Out) rule to all materials
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Good English, written, verbal and oral skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
