Support safe production at Stelco’s Lake Erie facility as a Third Class Stationary Engineer. Operate utilities, process equipment, and environmental systems in Nanticoke, Ontario. Reporting to the Area Manager, Operations, this permanent opportunity serves a unionized, highly industrial setting operating continuously throughout the year. Responsibilities span low
- and high-pressure steam, gas systems, HVAC equipment, water treatment, and environmental controls. You will also manage chemical reagents, gas-testing equipment, lockouts, clearances, and safe-work documentation. Candidates need a TSSA Third Class Operating Engineer Certificate and two years of industrial experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate environmental control and water treatment equipment
- Maintain gas systems, HVAC equipment, and process utilities




- Perform chemical analysis and manage injection equipment
- Provide utilities-system isolations, lockouts, and clearances
- Follow applicable procedures, policies, and regulations

Requirements:
- Maintain TSSA Third Class Operating Engineer certification
- Demonstrate two years of industrial-environment experience
- Respond quickly to process upsets
- Navigate stairs, ladders, barriers, and plant areas
- Work scheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays when required Use stationary-engineering knowledge, chemical-analysis skills, and utility-equipment experience to support Stelco’s protected Nanticoke operations.
