This Accountant reports to the Manager, Financial Planning and Program Support. The position monitors program performance, analyzes variances, and supports budgets and forecasts. It also delivers training on OHRS, MIS, patient costing, and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor program performance and investigate material financial variances
- Develop business-plan analysis for expanded programs and services
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments
- Present reports, budgets, analysis, and recommendations to management




- Lead financial projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
- Chartered Skilled Accountant designation and Ontario registration
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, MIS Guidelines, and OHRS
- Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps certificate Apply financial analysis, forecasting, healthcare reporting, and process improvement expertise as a Health Sciences North Accountant.
