Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing Assistant supports engaging, consistent digital marketing across social platforms and e-commerce channels. The Lieutenant's Pump English Pub on Elgin St. has ongoing events and campaigns to promote. This role helps prepare visual content, improve discoverability, and track campaign performance.

Duties

- Assist with social media content planning, publishing, and scheduling using Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Create and adapt graphics with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Suite, applying graphic design principles and proofreading copy before publication.
- Support Facebook Advertising and digital marketing campaigns; use SEO and keyword research to strengthen content and e-commerce visibility.
- Review Google Analytics data and summarize performance trends to inform future content and campaign decisions.

Experience

Required:



Practical digital marketing capabilities, clear written communication, proofreading, and the ability to organize content and review basic performance data are important for supporting these duties. Preferred: Experience with social media scheduling, Facebook Advertising, e-commerce, SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous. Familiarity with Hootsuite or Buffer is also helpful.

Pay: $17.60-$35.25 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 per week
