Remote Senior Engineer or Lead designing Azure Event Hubs integrations with Kafka-compatible interfaces, security controls, and downstream consumer enablement. This long-term contract owns integration design, Event Hubs configuration, event ingestion, and secure access controls. You will assess producers, Kafka endpoints, schemas, throughput, latency, and ordering. The work supports reliable event-driven integration with Cloud Engineering, Information Security, and application teams. Key Responsibilities:

Design direct publishing or Kafka bridge integration approaches Configure event hubs, partitions, consumer groups, retention, and throughput Implement authentication, RBAC, encryption, and secure credential management Enable Kafka protocol and Azure-native downstream consumers Establish monitoring,



alerting, runbooks, and technical documentation Requirements:

Hands-on Azure Event Hubs and Apache Kafka implementation experience Solid knowledge of producers, consumers, topics, offsets, and delivery semantics Experience with partitioning, serialization, and schema compatibility Practical Azure security knowledge, including Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC Ability to design, implement, troubleshoot, and test integrations independently Apply Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, security, and reliability expertise to foundational remote event-driven integration delivery.
