Customer Service Associate – Full Time

Macro Foods is a small business in London, ON. Our mission is to serve the community fresh, healthy, chef-prepared meals. In addition to our meals, we also offer protein shakes, supplements, and healthy snacks. Customers can walk in to pick up meals on the go or order online for delivery anywhere across Ontario.

Our customer service department is seeking an experienced, energetic, and capable individual to join our busy team. The successful candidate will greet customers, explain our products, assist with orders, and help resolve customer inquiries using company policies and procedures.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized individual with strong customer service skills who is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health, fitness, or healthy eating is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and visitors in person and provide a welcoming experience.
- Answer customer questions about meals, shakes, supplements, and services.
- Assist customers who require additional help or product guidance.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues respectfully.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls when necessary.
- Enter customer information and orders into the computer/POS system.




- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house environment.
- Assist with preparation of protein shakes and front counter service.

Requirements

- Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Must complete Safe Food Handlers Certificate within the first 2 weeks of employment.
- Open availability required, including evenings and weekends.

Schedule

Opening Shift:

- 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (10:00 AM start on Wednesdays)

Closing Shift:

- 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Weekend Shifts:

- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (10:00 AM start on Sundays)

Minimum availability required: 6 shifts per week.

Example Schedule:

- Monday: All Day (2 shifts)
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: Closing Shift (1 shift)
- Thursday: Opening Shift (1 shift)
- Friday: Off
- Saturday & Sunday: Flexible (2 shifts)

Compensation

- Competitive hourly wage
- Tips typically add an additional $2–$4 per hour on average
