AutoX is hiring a 3rd-year or higher Automotive Service Technician apprentice or a certified journeyperson for our Saskatoon shop.

If you take pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and keeping vehicles safe and reliable, we want to hear from you. Our modern, air-conditioned independent shop handles everything from everyday maintenance and repairs to diesel and performance work.

THE ROLE

- Inspect vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns, and recommend appropriate repairs.

- Complete maintenance and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and other vehicle systems within your training and qualifications.

- Use scan tools, service information, wiring diagrams, and shop equipment to troubleshoot concerns and verify repairs.

- Document findings, completed work, and repair recommendations clearly.

- Work with the service team to keep jobs moving and customers informed.

- Follow manufacturer procedures and secure work practices, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Current registration as a 3rd-year or higher Automotive Service Technician apprentice, or journeyperson certification in the trade.

- Practical automotive repair experience and sound mechanical knowledge.

- Strong attention to detail,



problem-solving skills, and pride in doing the job properly.

- Reliability, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently within your qualifications and as part of a team.

- SGI certification is an asset.

- Diesel, performance, or advanced diagnostic experience is an asset.

PAY AND BENEFITS

- $30–$54 per hour, based on apprenticeship level, qualifications, and experience.
