Lead Agricultural Service Technician

Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Agricultural & Industrial Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead a team to install, service, and repair agricultural and industrial equipment both on farms and in production facilities. We’re seeking someone with a positive, “can-do” attitude who enjoys problem-solving, learning new skills, and working in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission new equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Prepare accurate daily service and repair reports
- Assist with daily scheduling and coordination of service activities
- Rig grain silos and assist crane operators on-site
- Train client staff on proper equipment operation

Qualifications

- Experience in agriculture or industrial environments is required (poultry ideally)




- Background in construction, electrical, welding, or fabrication preferred
- Solid problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (required)

Schedule

- Monday to Friday (8–10 hours per day)
- Occasional overtime, evenings, and weekend shifts as needed

Compensation & Advantages

- $30-$40 per hour (based on experience)

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
