THE OPPORTUNITY

Concept Ford is seeking an experienced, highly productive Lead Diesel Technician to take a leading role in our expanding Ford Super Duty, heavy-duty truck, and commercial fleet service operation.

We offer two dedicated heavy-duty hoists, an established fleet business, a dedicated and experienced fleet service advisor, and the support of a secure service management and parts team.

This is an opportunity to take a lead role in an established, successful service operation with annual earning potential exceeding $150,000.

COMPENSATION – WE REWARD PERFORMANCE

- $150,000+ annual earning potential
- $48 per flat-rate hour
- Up to an additional $5 per flat-rate hour in performance bonuses per pay period
- Up to $53 per flat-rate hour including bonuses
- Consistent work volume supported by a growing customer-pay, warranty, and commercial fleet business

AN EXPANDING COMMERCIAL & FLEET BUSINESS

Our commercial and fleet service business is an important and growing part of Concept Ford's operation.

As our Lead Diesel Technician, you will serve as our primary technician for Ford Super Duty, diesel, heavy-duty truck, and fleet vehicle repairs.

You will play a central role in maintaining and strengthening our existing fleet relationships while supporting the continued growth of our commercial business.

You will work directly with our dedicated Fleet Service Advisor, an experienced, top-performing advisor with multiple years of experience.

This dedicated relationship provides:

- Consistent scheduling and workflow
- Efficient communication and repair authorizations
- Strong relationships with fleet and commercial customers

- A coordinated approach to maximizing technician efficiency and productivity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Lead Diesel Technician, you will:

- Serve as the lead technician for Ford Super Duty and heavy-duty truck repairs
- Diagnose and repair Ford Power Stroke diesel engines and related systems
- Perform complex diesel, mechanical, electrical, emissions, and drivetrain diagnostics and repairs
- Act as our primary dedicated fleet and commercial vehicle technician
- Work closely with our dedicated Fleet Service Advisor to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times
- Complete customer-pay, warranty, and fleet repairs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain strong Fixed Right the First Time performance
- Support the continued retention and growth of our commercial fleet customer base
- Deliver consistently high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong flat-rate productivity
- Contribute to our reputation for outstanding heavy-duty truck and commercial fleet service

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must possess:

- Valid Ontario 310S/310T Technician License – Mandatory
- Ford Diesel Technician Certification – Mandatory
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing Ford Power Stroke diesel engines
- Strong knowledge of Ford Super Duty trucks and heavy-duty vehicle systems
- Advanced diagnostic capabilities involving diesel engines, electrical systems, emissions, and drivetrains
- Demonstrated ability to routinely produce 12+ flat-rate hours per day
- Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong commitment to repair quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex repairs
- Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
