About the Role

As an Office Furniture Installer, you will work alongside our owner and installation team helping businesses throughout Central Alberta set up, relocate, and reconfigure their office environments.

Every day is different. One day you may be assembling ergonomic workstations for a corporate client, and the next you may be helping relocate an entire office.

We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and values doing things right the first time.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Furniture Delivery & Installation

- Deliver office furniture safely and professionally to customer locations.
- Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install desks, workstations, filing systems, seating, boardroom furniture, and accessories.
- Read floor plans, furniture layouts, and installation drawings.
- Ensure all installations are completed accurately and efficiently.

Commercial Office Moves

- Assist with office relocations and reconfigurations.
- Safely move furniture, equipment, and office contents.
- Protect customer property during moves and installations.
- Identify and report any damages or deficiencies immediately.

Vehicle & Equipment Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles, including a 1-ton cube van.




- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Load and secure products properly for transport.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly.

Warehouse & Operations

- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory handling.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Help prepare furniture and materials for upcoming projects.

Customer Service

- Represent Outsource Office Furniture professionally at all times.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, coworkers, and project managers.
- Provide exceptional customer service on every project.
- Maintain a positive attitude and solution-focused mindset.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean driving record (Driver's Abstract required)
- Ability to lift and carry 75-100 lbs regularly
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Strong communication and organizational skills




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred Qualifications

The following are considered strong assets:

- 2+ years of furniture installation experience
- Commercial moving experience
- Construction or carpentry experience
- Experience reading floor plans and installation drawings
- Forklift certification
- Experience driving larger commercial vehicles

Training may be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Schedule

- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime and weekend work during busy periods
