Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Controller and Shipping/Receiving Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software/systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate/Schedule with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of incoming goods and materials.
- Assist the logistics coordinator in overseeing shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, and arranging transportation logistics.
- Inspect and verify the quality, quantity, and condition of incoming products.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales and production, to fulfill customer orders and resolve any inventory-related issues.
- Laise with accounting team to reconcile the raw material usage for finished goods and ensure receiving documentation has been processed accurately.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.




- Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving inventory items and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and labeling of products.
- Train and supervise warehouse personnel in inventory control processes.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as an inventory controller or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software/systems, ERP and proficiency in using MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with shipping documents and transportation logistics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment.
