What you'll do...

As our Childcare Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations, educational quality and overall success of our centre.

- Lead & Inspire: Supervise, Mentor, Coach & Support RECE's and childcare staff to build a collaborative, positive and high performing team
- Champion Quality Programming: Ensure program reflects How Does Learning Happen? framework & support children's learning, development, inclusion and well being.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Coordinate staffing, classroom coverage, schedules, ratios and smooth day to day centre operations
- Maintain Compliance: Support compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act 2014, applicable regulations, licensing requirements, and centre policies.
- Build Strong Relationships Develop meaningful partnerships with families, educators and community stakeholders through open communication and professionalism.
- Promote Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean,



inclusive and welcoming environment while ensuring appropriate health, safety and supervision practices.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor program quality, maintain accurate documentation, support inspections and implement improvement strategies.
- Develop Your Team: Identify professional development opportunities, provide constructive feedback and foster a culture of accountability, respect and ongoing learning.

What we're looking for..

Essential Qualifications

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) of Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of proven supervisory experience in a licensed childcare centre or early learning environment.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario childcare licensing requirements, the CCEYA, and relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, scheduling, mentoring, and performance management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- A commitment to inclusive, play-based, child-centred learning and high-quality early childhood education.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional approach

Additional Assets

- Experience overseeing daily centre operations and supporting licensing inspections.
- Familiarity with childcare administration software, staff scheduling,



and documentation systems.
- Experience supporting staff onboarding, training, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills and the ability to lead with empathy, confidence, and accountability.

Pay: $31.00-$35.00 per hour
