Job Summary

The Draftsperson prepares and updates clear, accurate technical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design tools. This role supports project teams by translating design information into organized plans and visual documentation that colleagues can use to coordinate work.

Duties

- We’re looking for a practical, detail-oriented person to help design and develop our custom vehicle products. If you enjoy turning ideas into designs and seeing your work built in the shop, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

- Create SolidWorks 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop recent products and improve existing designs.
- Prepare sheet metal drawings, flat patterns, DXF files, and bills of materials.
- Take vehicle and component measurements to confirm fit and clearances.
- Work closely with our fabrication and assembly team to solve problems and improve production.
- Maintain accurate drawings, revisions, and product documentation.

What we’re looking for:

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, including parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Experience with mechanical drafting and product design.
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.




- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with our shop team.

Experience with vehicle upfitting or custom equipment is an asset. A relevant diploma or certificate is welcome, and equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
