Shape operational risk governance for EQ Personal Banking through control testing, issue management, and regulatory reporting in hybrid Toronto work. This Senior Manager leads the design, implementation, execution, and reporting of first-line testing and risk management programs. You will maintain control documentation, streamline processes, challenge existing approaches, and coach teams on testing expectations. The role also supports reporting for senior leadership and the Board, highlighting risks, control gaps, and trends. Key Responsibilities:





Refresh key controls and maintain supporting procedures and evidence Review and streamline business processes and controls Coach first-line teams on testing processes and expectations Track issues and manage timely remediation activities Report control effectiveness, regulatory themes, and risk trends Requirements:

Minimum five years progressive risk management or audit experience First-line risk management experience within financial services preferred Knowledge of regulatory, legal, compliance, and business planning matters Knowledge of Bank Act and federal consumer protection requirements Ability to influence management and maintain solid relationships Use operational risk governance, testing expertise, and clear communication to strengthen controls across EQ Personal Banking.
