JANITOR / CLEANER

Location: Georgetown, ON
Pay Rate: $17.90–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position: Full time

Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, and clean warehouse floors and walkways.
- Operate industrial floor-cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, if trained.
- Clean washrooms, lunchrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty garbage, recycling bins, and waste containers.
- Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces, including door handles and shared areas.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory when required.
- Keep loading docks, walkways, and work areas clean and free of debris.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements





- Previous janitorial, cleaning, or warehouse cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including bending and repetitive movements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
