About Us

Cameron Welding Inc. is a newly established welding and fabrication shop in Red Deer, built on decades of industry experience and a strong reputation for quality workmanship.

We're building a team of skilled, dependable tradespeople who take pride in their work. Our focus is on delivering quality fabrication in a clean, organized, and professional shop environment.

We're currently looking for a motivated Welder Apprentice (1st–3rd Year) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

- Assist with welding and fabrication of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and custom projects.
- Perform MIG, TIG and stick welding and general fabrication tasks.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Assist with material preparation, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly.
- Operate shop equipment and hand tools safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace.
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop welding and fabrication skills.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

- Registered 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year Welder Apprentice preferred.
- Some experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
- Basic understanding of fabrication drawings and measuring tools.
- Willingness to learn and accept direction.




- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial shop environment.
- Reliable transportation to Queens Industrial Park.

TIG welding experience is an asset but not required.
