About the Opportunity

Couture Consultants is proud to be partnering with our client to hire an experienced Excavation Operator. Lessard Excavating is a well-established company known for delivering high-quality civil and residential excavation services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in their work, values safety, and has solid hands-on experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment across a variety of job sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy equipment including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Mini Excavators
- Skid Steers
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and site preparation for both civil and residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance




- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
- Identify and report hazards, equipment issues, and site concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in civil and residential excavation
- Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, mini excavators, and skid steers
- Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, and underground servicing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 required; higher classification is an asset)
- Solid understanding of workplace safety standards (e.g., WorkSafeBC)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
