Job Summary

As a Cashier/Customer Service team member, you’ll support customers with purchases, product questions, and a smooth checkout experience. You’ll use POS technology, explicit communication, and attentive service to help customers find suitable products and complete transactions accurately.

Duties

- Process purchases and returns using POS systems; handle cash and other transactions accurately, applying basic math.
- Assist with retail sales, answer product questions, and demonstrate products to help customers make informed choices.
- Maintain merchandising displays, keep the checkout area organized, and manage tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Use professional phone etiquette and offer relevant upselling suggestions based on customer needs.

Qualifications

Required: Strong customer service and communication skills, basic math, cashiering and cash-handling ability, POS familiarity, and effective time management and organization. English proficiency supports clear customer interactions. Preferred: Retail sales or technical sales experience, including technology sales and product demonstrations; multilingual or bilingual abilities are valuable when assisting a diverse customer base.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 44.0 per week
