Job Summary

The Die Corrector optimizes performance of problematic dies while maintaining existing dies and tooling to meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

- Perform sample and prototype first-article runs.
- Review samples, quality reports, and rejections to determine appropriate die corrections.
- Compare drawing specifications, industry tolerance standards, and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
- Revise dies to meet customer specifications.
- Follow work instructions, best practices, and safety procedures always.
- Communicate effectively and provide support to other departments.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

- Previous experience in aluminum extrusion die correction is required
- Proficient in milling machine operation (critical requirement).
- Skilled in high-speed hand grinder operation and hand filing.
- Ability to use measuring instruments with precision.




- Good computer skills (experience with EPICS and CAD considered an asset).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Welding experience is an asset.
