Lead distributed systems architecture and backend engineering for Splunk’s fulfillment platform, guiding complex initiatives across teams with high autonomy. As a software development leader, you will shape the next-generation Order Management Platform supporting Splunk product delivery. You will influence roadmaps, establish engineering standards, and guide technical direction across partner teams. The work spans design, production delivery, security, scalability, reliability, and observability. Key Responsibilities:





Lead complex initiatives from technical design through production delivery Manage dependencies and trade-offs across multiple engineering teams Influence fulfillment platform architecture and engineering roadmaps Set code quality and architectural standards through reviews Mentor engineers and contribute to threat modeling and observability Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of related experience Backend experience with Go or Python Robust distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure foundation Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives end-to-end Experience mentoring engineers at multiple levels Shape reliable fulfillment systems through distributed architecture, backend development, technical leadership, and engineering mentorship at Splunk.
