Roles and Responsibilities

We are currently looking to fill the role of Manager Credit Adjudication. Reporting to the Vice President Credit, this position provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Credit Adjudication team through coaching, training, and performance support.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Credit Adjudication Team

- Lead, coach and develop the Credit Adjudication team.
- Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Promote consistent lending practices and delegated authorities.

Oversee Credit Adjudication and Decision Quality

- Oversee adjudication across consumer, commercial, agricultural, leasing and dealer finance portfolios.
- Approve credit applications within authority limits.
- Support continuous improvement and credit quality initiatives.





Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
- Support AML, ATF, privacy and Market Code requirements.

Leadership & Culture

- Champion Prosperity Credit Union’s values, vision, and mission while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Actively contribute to organizational success through cross-functional partnerships, participation in credit union initiatives, and engagement in community and member-focused activities that strengthen the Credit Union's reputation and relationships

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related discipline is a valuable asset, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in consumer, commercial, agricultural, leasing, or dealer finance lending, credit adjudication, or credit risk management, with demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on coaching, performance management, and team development would be an asset.




- Passion for co-operative values and involvement with the local community.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
