On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer in their industry, we are recruiting for a Finance Accounting Manager. This is a current opening for a permanent placement here in London ON. The ideal candidate would thrive in a small manufacturing environment and enjoy being involved in all aspects of he business. Some key responsibilities include overseeing the financial, payroll, human resources, health and safety, cost accounting, and administrative functions of the Canadian operation. This hands-on role serves as the primary financial liaison between the Canadian business and the U.S. parent company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with corporate requirements, and the efficient day-to-day management of business operations. Some Key responsibilities would include: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. - Complete month-end and year-end closing activities. - Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations to management. - Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for the U.S. parent company. - Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and reporting requirements. - Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning initiatives. - Coordinate external audits and support requests from corporate finance and auditors. - Maintain fixed asset records and capital expenditure tracking. - Develop and maintain internal controls and financial procedures. - Cost Accounting and Manufacturing support - maintain and oversee the cost accounting functions, analyze financial results, prepare monthly financial reporting packages - Accounts Receivable and Collections,



Payroll Advantages Administration, - Other areas required included Health and Safety as well as Administration Qualifications Include: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance - Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of financial reporting, payroll administration and internal controls. - Experience with cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing. - Experience with M2M/Aptean ERP systems preferred - Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE) reporting environments is an asset. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
