Job Description:

Technician responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and debug of server hardware infrastructure

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
- Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
- Deploy and maintain NPI server products while partnering with other engineers and contractors
- Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

REQUIREMENTS:

- Positive communication skills, both written and oral
- High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
- Experience in areas of data center system deployment, software deployment, and validation
- Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
- Ability to function independently with little direct supervision
- Physical Requirements: Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

- 2-4 years experience in high tech industry
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience




- Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint

Job Description

- Demonstrated experience working in data center and managing all aspects of lab infrastructure.
- Thorough understanding of server, workstation hardware architecture.
- Able to read and interpret board schematics.
- Demonstrated experience in PC/Server environment H/W and S/W setup and administration.
- Comfortable working in different operating system environments including Linux and Windows.
- Excellent Hardware and OS Debug, troubleshoot skills.
- Familiarity with Networking setup and configuration.
- Hands on experience with various storage solutions (NAS,SAN. etc.) and form factors.
- Experience with power supplies monitoring and sequencing.
- Proficient at documenting experimental results in a structured manner for ease of reference.
- Demonstrated ability to work with JIRA and Confluence project management and documentation tools.
- Team player with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
