Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The successful candidate will safely operate forklifts, move and organize materials, and assist with loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving activities. Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to move and position products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move, stack, and store pallets in designated locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Use scanners or WMS systems to record inventory movements.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
- Verify products, quantities, and pallet conditions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.




- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.
- Valid forklift certification/licence.
- Experience with Reach, Counterbalance, or other powered industrial trucks is an asset.
- Ability to safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting, and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Solid attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English or French communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.
