Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPatron Career Staffing is hiring an experienced Millwright for a leading industrial coatings and finishing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixers, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Replace worn or defective machine components and perform precision alignments.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient equipment operation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Qualifications
- Valid Industrial Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification or equivalent experience.




- 3–5 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and industrial machinery.
- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Willingness to work overtime or rotating shifts, if required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial coatings, paints, chemicals, or finishing manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and PLC-controlled equipment is an asset.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or elevated work platform certification is an asset.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
