Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client in the industrial operations space is seeking a Director, Strategic Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, pricing strategy, contract management, and procurement processes across a national vendor network.
This is a senior, hands-on opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who combines strong commercial judgment with analytical and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will help build scalable procurement processes, strengthen vendor agreements, and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance.
What You’ll Do

- Lead strategic sourcing, pricing analysis, and vendor negotiations
- Develop procurement strategies that support growth, profitability, and service objectives
- Negotiate and manage complex vendor agreements and renewals
- Establish pricing benchmarks, commercial terms, and procurement standards
- Analyze vendor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities
- Develop procurement processes, tools, reporting, and governance frameworks
- Partner with operations and senior leadership on complex commercial decisions
- Provide procurement expertise for major client opportunities and renewals




- Drive improvements from strategy through execution

What You Bring

- 5+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Experience managing vendor contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to sourcing and negotiations
- Experience developing or improving procurement processes and controls
- Solid Excel skills; Power BI or other BI tools are an asset
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or a related field
- SCMP designation is an asset
- Experience managing large or geographically dispersed supplier networks is preferred

Experience in logistics, transportation, facilities management, industrial services, or other multi-vendor environments would be an asset.
