Job Summary

We are currently hiring experienced and reliable Forklift Operators for our client's automotive manufacturing facility in Etobicoke, Ontario. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within the facility.

- Load and unload trailers, trucks, racks, and designated storage areas.

- Move raw materials, automotive components, finished products, and production supplies.

- Supply materials to production lines as required.

- Organize and store materials in designated locations.

- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any safety or equipment concerns.

- Ensure materials are handled and stored securely to prevent damage.

- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and material-handling procedures.





- Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records when required.

- Keep work areas clean and organized.

- Follow all company health and safety policies and PPE requirements.

- Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving teams.

- Perform other material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.

- Previous forklift experience in an automotive, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment is an asset.

- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts is preferred.

- Ability to safely maneuver a forklift in busy production and warehouse areas.

- Valuable attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety.

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to work day, afternoon, or night shifts.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to frequently enter and exit a forklift.

- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
