The role supports the regional Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning team in a hybrid work setting, with in-office attendance based on project and collaboration needs. Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee traffic analyses using tools such as Synchro, SIDRA, and Vistro. Lead traffic impact assessments, transportation safety assessments, road safety reviews, and road safety audits. Contribute to functional planning, transportation master plans, and transit and multimodal planning. Prepare and review technical reports and engineering studies. Coordinate with agencies, stakeholders, Indigenous communities, clients, engineers, and technical staff. Develop scopes, estimates, schedules, proposals,



and client relationships; support business development. Oversee quality control and mentor engineering and technical staff. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and professional registration with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. At least 7-8 years of relevant transportation planning and traffic engineering experience. Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic, SIDRA, and Vistro; experience with traffic impact assessments, transportation planning, and safety. Experience managing transportation staff; proposal preparation and business development experience. Saskatchewan professional registration, project management, and experience with PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, or EMME are assets. The position is primarily office-based and may require field work and travel.
