Senior Power Apps Developer to integrate data from multiple systems to support reliability, strategy optimization, analytics, and decision-making

Our large Oil & Gas industry client is seeking aSenior Power Apps Developer to integrate data from multiple systems to support reliability, strategy optimization, analytics, and decision-making. The role will enhance an existing Power Apps solution, integrating enterprise data, Power BI analytics, and AI-driven insights to support proactive and reactive maintenance workflows.

Duration: 6-month initial contract

Working model: Full-time onsite within downtown Calgary

Must-Haves:

- Extensive hands-on experience developing using Power Apps and Power Platform
- Experience integrating Power Apps with Power BI and Snowflake
- Proven ability to build, troubleshoot, and deploy scalable applications supporting complex business workflows
- Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources and implementing application-level data integrations
- Ability to independently own technical development and translate business requirements into working solutions

Nice-to-Haves:

- Experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities or conversational AI into Power Platform solutions
- Oil and Gas industry experience
- Experience with equipment reliability, maintenance, or asset management systems

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead hands-on development, enhancement, and implementation of Power Apps solutions
- Own application development from end to end, from translating business requirements into technical designs through build, integration, testing and deployment
- Develop and maintain integrations between Power Apps, Snowflake, Power BI, and enterprise data sources
- Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to incorporate curated data, insights, and AI-driven recommendations into application workflows
- Make technical implementation decisions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application quality, performance,
