Diagnose diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Churchill, Manitoba, supporting Frontiers North Adventures’ seasonal fleet.

Frontiers North Adventures is hiring a Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Garage and Fleet team during the October and November polar bear season. You will maintain Tundra Buggies, passenger vehicles, service vehicles, and specialized lodge systems. The work supports protected, reliable operations in remote subarctic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and drive axles
- Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and pre-season overhauls
- Service Tundra Buggy wheel assemblies, subframes,



and hydraulic drives
- Respond to remote field service calls during tour operations

Requirements:

- Recognized heavy-duty equipment or truck and transport apprenticeship
- Journeyperson certification; Red Seal preferred
- Valid Class 2 driver’s licence required or obtainable
- Extensive diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems experience
- Experience maintaining heavy equipment in remote environments
