As Principal Engineer, you will serve as the most senior individual contributor in Engineering. You will solve difficult platform problems, guide technical strategy, and raise standards across teams and products. Your work supports COSMO products including the JrTrack Kids Smartwatch and Mission Control Parent App.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set Android platform architecture, reliability, performance, and security strategy
- Lead designs, evaluate tradeoffs, and align technical stakeholders
- Own AIDL interfaces and hardware-to-application integration
- Resolve cross-layer hardware, system, and application issues




- Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards

Requirements:

- 8+ years skilled software engineering experience
- 6+ years focused on Android development
- 4+ years as technical leader or principal-level individual contributor
- 7+ years with Android SDK, Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java
- Deep expertise in Binder, AIDL, drivers, and hardware data flow
