Lead martial arts group lessons at McGill University, adapting instruction for registered participants from beginner through advanced levels. This is a part time assignment.

The Martial Arts Instructor works under an immediate supervisor within Athletics and Recreation. The instructor coordinates activity delivery, modifies techniques for member limitations, and responds to emergencies. Teaching proficiency in one or more qualifying martial arts disciplines is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead martial arts group lessons for registered participants
- Coordinate classes ranging from beginner to advanced levels
- Adapt lessons to specific participant groups
- Modify moves and techniques for member limitations
- Report emergency issues to supervisors or security

Requirements:

- Proficiency teaching one or more qualifying martial arts disciplines
- Emergency, Standard First Aid, and CPR C certification
- Certification or experience delivering and coordinating activities
- High School Diploma
- Three years of related experience
