A well-established construction company in Vaughan is looking for a Director of IT Infrastructure to run the technology backbone of the business, from head office to the job sites. You will lead the infrastructure team and own the networks, servers, cloud services, and workplace systems that project teams and office staff rely on every day.

It is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the direction and the standards, manage the vendors and the budget, and still be close enough to the work to jump in when something critical is down. Current priorities include keeping multi-site connectivity reliable, tightening security, and planning the next round of upgrades without disrupting active projects.

- 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years leading a team
- Deep experience with networks (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN) and Windows server environments

- Robust background in Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience supporting multiple sites, ideally including construction job sites or field operations
- A track record with service delivery: help desk, SLAs, and keeping uptime where it matters
- Vendor and budget management experience, including contract renewals and licensing
- Comfort working with security and compliance requirements (backups, disaster recovery, access control)
- Clear communication with non-technical leaders, and a calm head during outages
- Degree or diploma in IT or a related field; certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are an asset
