Overview

Responsibilities

- Assist with construction tasks including framing, concrete forming, masonry, and carpentry.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist in project execution.
- Perform concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall installation as needed.
- Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations by preparing materials and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Conduct restoration work such as caulking, painting, or surface preparation to meet project specifications.
- Assist with the installation of cabinets, countertops, or other fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
- Support project estimating by providing accurate measurements and material needs when required.

Experience





- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specific skills such as concrete finishing or welding is a plus.
- Experience in masonry, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while following safety guidelines is essential. Job Types : Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
