Job Summary : Key Responsibilities :

- Equipment Operation : Safely operate a Tow Cat to pull a Cable Plow, move materials, or grade small areas.
- Maintenance & Inspections : Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment (checking fluids, grease points, tracks/tires) and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Material Handling : Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using the equipment, including operating winches or loading devices.
- Site Labour : Perform general labour tasks such as manual cleaning, organizing tools, shoveling, and assisting other operators on site.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Site Cleanup : Remove waste and debris from work areas to maintain a safe and organized site.

Qualifications & Requirements :

- Experience :



Previous experience operating dozers or similar small heavy equipment is required.
- Licensing : Valid driver’s license (Class 5 required, Class 3/1 is an asset) with a clean abstract.
- Physical Ability : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand, walk, bend, or climb for extended periods.
- Safety Training : Knowledge of safety protocols. Certifications (e.g., CSTS, RSTS, First Aid) are a strong asset.
- Mechanical Aptitude : Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance.
- Work Ethic : Ability to work independently or as part of a team, often in varying weather conditions.

Job Types : Full time, Seasonal Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
