Overview

Responsibilities

- Assist with seeding, spraying, and harvesting crops using tractors with varying equipment connections, sprayers, baler, etc
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools
- Conduct heavy lifting and moving of supplies, equipment, or harvested crops as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support general farm operations including loading, unloading, and transporting materials

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours of manual labor
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs and calculating quantities




- Knowledge of farm safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions

This position is vital to the success of our farm operations. We value hardworking individuals eager to learn new skills and contribute to sustainable agriculture practices. This individual must be able to work around animals as we are mixed farm operation with livestock.
