JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute skilled tasks related power tools and saws
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics and project specifications
- Operate a variety of hand tools and other construction equipment
- Comply with Hestia Safety programs and relevant safety legislation, ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with other team members in various construction activities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on-site
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve as issues arise during the construction projects
- Other duties may be assigned
- Follow and adhere to all other company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS





- 2 - 5 years prior experience as a skilled construction laborer, or currently working as a carpenter apprentice towards a Red Seal
- Understanding of construction processes, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Experience and/or ticket operating zoom boom
- First Aid certification is an asset
- Strong ability to communicate with an attention to detail and precision in work
- Commitment to safety standards and guidelines
- Maintain a current class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract
- You will be required to provide your own PPE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to lift 55 lbs. maximum
- Physical stamina to frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Work will involve pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, crouching, walking, standing and repetitive motions
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
