Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in the construction sector to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, supporting project planning, operational efficiency, and technology-driven solutions. This role will involve analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring smooth coordination between project teams, stakeholders, and technology providers.

Key Responsibilities : Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work with project managers, engineers, management and finance teams to understand business objectives.
- Evaluate current systems against user needs, perform gap analysis, document requirements and identify potential software solutions to bridge gaps
- Conduct workshops and site visits to gather process insights and operational challenges.
- Identify areas of redundant functionality between software platforms and optimize use of existing systems

Technology Implementation Support

- Collaborate with IT teams and software vendors to implement construction-related systems (BIM, ERP, scheduling platforms).
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new software tools.
- Serve as liaison between business and external IT consulting team,



coordinating delivery of support and holding IT consultant accountable to service level agreement.
- Prepare and present software demonstrations.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users.
- Other Duties as Required.

Qualifications : Education & Experience

- Post secondary degree or diploma in information technology, computing science, business administration or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong information technology background

Technical Skills

- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, CMiC, Primavera P6, Autodesk BIM 360, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Knowledge and practical experience with basic software implementations, software development lifecycle methodologies, business process reengineering, and organizational change management.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical teams and operational staff.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, project-driven environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take a leadership role in software implementation

Preferred Certifications

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
