Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering telephone calls and directing calls to the pharmacist as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work setting
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with other clerical duties as may be necessary to ensure smooth running of the pharmacy




- Ensure cleanliness of the pharmacy at all time.

Skills

- Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of Kroll pharmacy software systems is a plus

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
