We’re seeking an experienced Merchandise & Inventory Planner to join our growing team — a strategic, detail-oriented professional who can translate data into action and ensure our global inventory, production, and logistics systems scale efficiently and profitably.

Position Overview

This role combines the analytical rigor of merchandise planning with the operational oversight of supply chain management. You’ll develop sales and inventory plans across multiple channels and regions while managing relationships with production partners and freight forwarders.

You will play a critical role in maintaining product availability, ensuring quality and integrity, and driving cost efficiencies throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandise & Inventory Planning

- Develop and manage sales, inventory, and margin plans across DTC, wholesale, and international channels.
- Build and maintain open-to-buy (OTB) and assortment plans to optimize inventory investment and minimize stock imbalances.
- Analyze sell-through data, category performance, and channel trends to forecast demand and inform purchasing decisions.




- Partner cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and product teams to align seasonal and annual inventory strategies with business goals.
- Create and maintain dashboard reporting and performance analysis to support agile decision-making.

Supply Chain & Production

- Liaise directly with global production partners , ensuring timelines, quantities, and quality standards are met.
- Manage incoming freight and logistics coordination with freight forwarders and shipping companies, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking.
- Collaborate with operations and finance to forecast and plan shipping volumes and costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across production, packaging, and logistics while upholding LUSOMÉ’s premium product quality and brand integrity.
- Maintain detailed oversight of landed costs, tariffs, and duty structures to support international growth planning.
- Ensure operational alignment between production schedules and sales forecasts , preventing overstock or out-of-stock scenarios.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in merchandise or inventory planning, ideally within apparel, têxtiles, or consumer goods.





- Proven experience working with production partners, freight forwarders, or third-party logistics providers. :

- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Familiarity with Shopify, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred.

- Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, landed cost analysis, and import logistics. :

- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
